Active Reading

Throughout the semester we have skipped about two books; “Emerging” and “They Say/ I Say” and these were two interesting and informative reads. After each chapter that we were assigned, we had a discussion post, which was a short response about what the chapter was about, as well as how we took the chapter. This helped me a lot to see my understanding of the chapter as well as compare my understanding to others in my class.

I have never been the best at annotating my book, it has always just been easier for me to read it. My annotations were added after reading, when I was using this text as quotes in my essays, it made it a lot easier to find everything that I planned out.
